Frequently asked questions

Everything organizers and guests usually ask before the party.

What is Tách Tách?

Tách Tách is a photobooth that runs in the web browser. An organizer creates an event and shares a link or QR code; guests take photostrips on their own phones, or on a tablet or laptop set up in kiosk mode. Photos are placed in a designed frame, can be downloaded and shared straight away, and are collected in the event's gallery.

Do guests need to install an app or create an account?

No. Guests scan the QR code or open the booth link in their browser and start taking photos. There is nothing to install and no guest account. Only the organizer signs up.

Which phones and devices does it work on?

Any recent phone, tablet or computer with a camera and an up-to-date browser: iPhone and iPad with Safari, Android phones with Chrome, and laptops with a webcam. The browser asks for camera permission the first time. Guests can switch between the front and back camera.

Is Tách Tách free?

Yes, there is a free plan: 3 active events, 100 photos per event, all 7 layouts and 10 filters, QR sharing and a guest gallery, with photos kept for 30 days and a small watermark. Pro ($19/month) and Business ($79/month) raise the limits, remove the watermark and add premium templates, your own logo and CSV export.

Who can see the guests' photos?

Each photo has its own hard-to-guess share link. The organizer decides whether the event gallery is public or private, can approve photos before they appear, and can hide or delete any photo. Photos are deleted automatically when the plan's storage period ends (30 days on Free, 1 year on Pro, 2 years on Business). Booth and photo pages are kept out of search engines.

Can I make a booth private with an access code?

Yes. In the event settings the organizer can set an access code. Guests have to enter it before they can use the booth or open the gallery, so only people you give the code to can take part.

How do I print the photos?

Every layout is sized for standard prints: 2×6″ strips, 4×6″ grids and double strips, and 6×4″ landscape cards, rendered in high resolution. Guests can download their photo from its share page (unless the organizer turns downloads off), and the organizer can download the event's photos, or a selection, as a ZIP file to print on a photo printer or at a print shop.

The camera won't open inside Zalo, Facebook or Messenger. What should I do?

Apps like Zalo, Facebook and Messenger open links in their own built-in browser, which sometimes blocks the camera. Tap the ⋯ menu and choose “Open in browser” (Safari or Chrome), or scan the QR code with the phone's camera app. Also check that camera access is allowed for the browser in the phone's settings.

Which languages does Tách Tách support?

The interface is available in Vietnamese (the default) and English. Switch language at the bottom of the page, or add ?lang=en to any link to open it in English.

Who makes Tách Tách?

Tách Tách is made by Mida Dean, a personal brand that makes fun things. Learn more at midadean.org.
